Which files can I fax broadcast with?

We strongly recommend Portable Document Format (PDF) to be used when broadcasting. For merged broadcast users we recommend Office Open XML (DOCX).

We do allow the following files;

• Microsoft Excel .xlsx
• Microsoft Word 97-2003 .doc
• Microsoft Word .docx
• Rich Text .rtf
• Microsoft PowerPoint 97-2003 .ppt
• Microsoft PowerPoint .pptx
• PDF (recommend ISO v1.7) .pdf
• TIFF images .tif, .tiff
• GIF images .gif
• JPEG images .jpg, .jpeg
• PNG images .png
• HTML .htm, .html
• Plain text .txt

The UTBox broadcasting platform with data/mail merge supports the following document types;
